One of AFS's longtime clients is a New York-based international property and general insurance company with over 250 employees in the United States and several hundred abroad. Following a migration from the Novell network to the Windows 2003 network, each employee was supplied with a standardized PC environment giving them access to all tools and applications needed to serve the firm's global clientele. A complete VPN solution was put into place providing each end-user with email, database access to their Certificate of Insurance Program and complete data collaboration. AFS also developed the integration of the Wintam insurance application and set up the terminal server environment in which it runs. We are responsible for maintaining all phases of IT infrastructure including both hardware and software.

Since 1999 AFS has been involved in the support and development of a global financial service firm's bankruptcy trustee networks. Working closely with this well-known client's technology team, headquartered in California, AFS consultants meet all of the technology needs of the company's 100+ trustees in the New York/New Jersey/Pennsylvania/Connecticut region. Our professionals manage all phases of support of the PC networks in place including implementing proprietary software; installing, configuring and supporting Windows 2003 and Novell networks; and providing complete PC support including data transfer and recovery. We are also responsible for putting together a team of experienced technicians to handle the expansive territory - ensuring 4 hour response time for critical data and productivity applications.

A successful New Jersey property management organization has relied on the experts of AFS for more than 17 years. Our team designed, implemented and maintains this client's corporate web page which offers viewers an extensive, dynamically updated property listing and search tool as well as a tenant page that is constantly being updated. We are also responsible for developing and implementing their internal property management software, which tracks all phases of the rental process including prospective tenant background search, lease agreements and property maintenance recording. We currently support all PCs in place as well as the client's Novell network.

The challenge presented by this client of 20 years was to design and implement a Windows 2003 network that effectively met all email and data collaboration needs while seamlessly integrating with an existing Unix platform billing and patient management system. AFS handled the careful planning and migration of the Unix system over to Windows 2003. We also put together a team that put in place a complete PC network for several departments. AFS is active in all phases of support including desktop and server support.

Our team implemented and continues to maintain a VPN/AS400 network, which includes supporting the remote connection to the AS400 and troubleshooting client access issues. This growing transportation company currently has several locations throughout the United States. We are responsible for maintaining the entire network and ensuring that all terminals have access to the AS400. Our experienced pros managed their data search and recovery project when they merged with another trucking company in South Carolina, ensuring they had ready access to the information they needed for a smooth migration.
